Program overviewThere are plenty of different graphics editors. They are designed for single images viewing and editing. But what if you need just to convert you files from one format to another or process them according to one scheme. And what if you have hundreds of files need to be processed? You may need several months if you try to do it with ordinary editor. Image Converter Plus command line converts files to TIFF format. It is optimized for graphic files batch processing to accelerate and automate that kind of job. It can be launched from command line, BATCH-file or another application written in C, C++, Visual C++, Borland C, Visual Basic, etc. It is optimizad for work at background and have no windows interface. Log file is being created while the program is running; current status is displayed in DOS-like window. If you launch conversion from your application you can make this window invisible. Image Converter Plus command line can work with multipage and one-page files, change image size with optional proportions keeping, crop margins and change color depth. All these and other options can be set with keys from command line. The full key listing and detailed description of different program launching methods can be found in program help-file or in ReadMe.txt, which will open if the program is launched without any key. TIFF (Tag Image File Format) is optimum for storing professional quality images, faxes and scanned texts. TIFF format is capable to store multicolor and palette images. File can contain from one to virtually unlimited number of images (pages). Data can be either kept without compression or compressed with several different methods. The best compression method for color images is JPEG, for black and white images (faxes, etc) - CCITT Group 4. They provide minimum image size without image fault. TIFF format is supported by all graphics viewers and editors of medium and high level. |
